Training & Credentials
Dr. Madhuri Abhishek holds an MDS in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and was trained exclusively in Smile Designing and Facial Aesthetics following her postgraduation, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. H. R. Metelmann, Chairman of the Institute of Laser & Aesthetic Medicine (ILAMED) and Professor of Maxillofacial & Plastic Surgery, University Medicine Greifswald, Germany.
This training focused specifically on the aesthetic side of dentistry — how tooth shape, gum line, lips, and facial proportion work together — rather than surgery alone, giving her a distinct, design-led perspective on every smile she plans.
Her Journey
Immediately after her postgraduation, Dr. Madhuri worked as an Assistant Professor at Kannur Dental College, Anjarakandy. She later chose to move into private practice, and has since combined her surgical training with her passion for smile designing — bringing together clinical precision and an aesthetic eye to deliver the best possible outcome for every patient.
Her Approach
Dr. Madhuri believes a smile isn't just a set of aligned teeth — it's how everything around them works together: tooth shape and colour, the gum line, the lips, and how it all sits within the face. Every consultation starts with a real conversation, not a checklist — understanding what a patient notices in their own smile before recommending any treatment.

Dr. Madhuri also has a keen academic interest alongside her clinical practice, with several national and international articles published in her name.
